Super Methyl-SP™ (K112)

Super Methyl-SP™ is a new formula based on our popular Methyl-SP™ formula. Super Methyl-SP™ provides an increased amount of key ingredients and supports methylation and homocysteine metabolism in the biliary system with a combination of targeted nutrients and cofactors.* This formula includes Folate (as (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid, glucosamine salt) (Quatrefolic®), Vitamin B12, Riboflavin, and is an excellent source of antioxidant vitamins C and E, as well as high-potency riboflavin and vitamin B6.

This product contains 5-MTHF (methylfolate).  A substantial portion of people have Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs) in their genes that create inefficient conversion of folate into Methylfolate.  Supplementation with products containing methylfolate is preferred to products that contain folate for this population.  Folate supplementation may create symptoms for this population, therefore products that contain methylfolate are typically preferred.  If you don't know if you have this genetic variant, consider our Nutrigenomic Evaluation.
